from the Pioneer Woman. Eva and I made this for March 14, pi day!
1 pie crust (forked and baked til golden)
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 t. salt
3 c. whole milk
4 egg yolks, mixed
6 1/2 oz bittersweet chocolate
2 t. vanilla
2 T. butter
1. mix dry ingredients
2. pour in milk and egg yolks to dry and mix
3. stir over medium heat until barely bubbling and becomes thick (6-8 minutes)
4. turn off heat immediately and add vanilla, chocolate, butter and stir til smooth
5. Pour pudding in pie crust and top with whipped cream once cool
