sushi rice

In rice cooker:
  • 3 c. dry (Nishiki or sushi) rice
  • 3 3/4 c. water
meanwhile in heat pot on stove until dissolves:
  • 1/3 c. rice vinegar
  • 3 T. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
pour vinegar mixture over rice in wooden bowl and paddle til cool
