cold-brewed iced tea

from "Simple Bites"
ingredients:
  • 6 tea bags
  • 1 gallon cold water
  • ice cubes
  • sweetener, to taste
  • lemon slices (optional)
  1. Place the tea bags in a gallon jar or jug. Fill with cold, filtered water. Cover and refrigerate overnight or 12 hours.
  2. Remove tea bags. Pour into a glass, add ice cubes and a slice of lemon. Add sweetener if desired. Enjoy!
Note: This made a light, mild tea.  Jamie loved it.  David thought it wasn’t strong enough.  We’re working on a version for David’s taste.

Just tried 4 c. water (plus) and 4 tea bags
