- substitute apple cider for milk
- add 2 peeled and finely chopped apples to batter (option: shred the apples for smaller pieces)
- add 1/2 t. cinnamon (or more to taste)
- (option: a light dusting of nutmeg and ginger)
- cook over medium heat (300 on skillet)
Serve with hot apple cider and pure maple syrup and savour Fall.
